WE MOSTLY SELL DOGS IN HUNGARY AND IN THOSE COUNTRIES WHERE THEY CAN TRAVEL WITHOUT RABIES VACCINATION IN AGE OF 9-10 WEEKS: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Lithuania, Luxemburg

1-1 Puppy sometimes is also available to other EU countries, where you can only travel from the age of 15-16 weeks. (Sweeden, Norway, deutschland, netherlands, belgium, switzerland, austria ... )

there is a 120EUR/week or 600eur/6weeks extra cost after 10 weeks of age for Food/vaccinations/care.

Important:

We highly prefer that new owners collect their puppy in person, as this gives us the opportunity to meet the future owners and ensure a smooth transition for the puppy.

Our dogs undergo all genetic and health screenings required by the breed club, and copies of the relevant documentation are provided to puppy buyers upon request via email. In addition, all official test results are recorded on the pedigree documents.

We do not limit ourselves to the mandatory screenings only. Our breeding dogs are subject to comprehensive health testing and have a full DNA profile (MyDogDNA), which screens for more than 270 genetic diseases. Through responsible and conscious breeding decisions, this allows us to prevent and significantly reduce the risk of inherited diseases.

During our breeding program, we place great emphasis on preserving the breed’s specific and defining characteristics, including size, coat quality, dentition, head type, movement, and temperament. Several of our dogs hold FCI conformation evaluations and have earned multiple national, junior, and international champion titles.

Any dog whose conformation or characteristics do not fully meet the breed standard is not included in our breeding program. We are true perfectionists and, in the best interest of the breed, we always strive for the highest possible quality.

From the very first days of life, we apply conscious and structured early development to our puppies. This includes both the ENS and ESI programs.

The Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) program is carried out during the earliest stage of a puppy’s life, between 3 and 16 days of age, and is based on short, carefully targeted stimuli. During this period, the nervous system develops extremely rapidly, which is why proper and controlled stimulation has measurable long-term positive effects on both the physical and mental development of the puppies.

Puppies that participate in the ENS program tend to grow into dogs that are:

more active, curious, and exploratory,
more confident when adapting to new environments and stimuli,
equipped with better problem-solving abilities,
easier to train and handle, thanks to a more balanced and stable nervous system.

The goal of ENS is not overstimulation, but rather the gentle, age-appropriate activation of the nervous system, which lays a solid foundation for the puppies’ future learning abilities, stress management, and overall mental stability.

Early Scent Intruduction - ESI

Early Scent Introduction (ESI) is a conscious and structured program that we carry out in parallel with the ENS period. At this early age, puppies’ nervous systems are extremely plastic, and although their vision and hearing are not yet developed, their sense of smell is already active and highly trainable.

During ESI, the puppies are introduced daily to different natural and safe scents (such as herbs, natural materials, soil, wood, mushrooms, cat hair, etc.). Each scent is presented individually and for a very short time, always in a calm and controlled manner, without overstimulation.

Benefits of ESI:

😌 Increases adaptability and confidence in new environments

As a result of early, controlled scent experiences, puppies grow into more balanced, open-minded, and mentally stable dogs. ESI does not “teach” specific tasks; instead, it lays the foundation for future learning and helps puppies use their natural instincts in a confident and structured way.

Puppy socialization and ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE

Our puppies are raised in a family environment, where they are introduced to everyday household noises and stimuli from an early age. From 10 days old, they are gently exposed several times a day, for short periods, to various sounds such as thunder, children’s voices, and fireworks, helping them grow into confident dogs that are less sensitive to sudden noises later in life.

They have access to a separate, safely enclosed artificial grass “nursery”, which they begin to use from around 4 weeks of age. This area includes sensory enrichment toys and an adjacent building with an air-conditioned rest room and grooming area, providing a spacious, secure, and stimulating environment where the puppies can develop comfortably close to their mother.

During their time with us, we also work on familiarizing the puppies with different surfaces, car travel, the sound of a hair dryer, and other everyday experiences. Puppies leave for their new homes at 9 weeks of age, freshly bathed and well prepared for family life.

We believe it is important to emphasize that socialization and environmental exposure must be continued by the new owners. Our goal is to provide the strongest possible foundation for each puppy’s future.

PUPPY SELECTION

Our priority is to create the best possible puppy–owner matches. For this reason, puppies are usually not assigned to their future families before 7 weeks of age. Until then, we regularly share high-quality photos on the litter page, and each puppy has its own individual album.

Puppies kept for our breeding or show prospect dogs are selected first. After the puppies receive their first vaccination, reserved families are welcome to visit us and get to know both the puppies and us in person.

We carefully consider the owners’ expectations (family companion, sport, truffle hunting), each puppy’s temperament, and the results of the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test at 7 weeks of age. During the first visit, families may indicate their preferred puppies, and based on our experience and professional evaluation, we recommend the puppy that fits them best. If an in-person visit is not possible due to distance, we are happy to provide several videos of the recommended puppy. The family may accept or decline this recommendation.

If no suitable match is found, the reservation can be transferred to a future litter (details are outlined in the contract).
If a puppy becomes available after 7–8 weeks of age, the introduction and reservation are made for a specific puppy.

Based on our experience and feedback from previous families, every puppy ultimately goes to the home that suits them best.

FCI Pedigree

Each puppy receives a pedigree, which includes its ancestors, screenings and championships.

Contract, Guarantee

The contract protects the interests of both parties and the dog. We guarantee that the dog does not have genetic diseases that can be avoided by screening. (e.g. juvenile epilepsy).

Vaccinations, chip

Vaccination against parvo and chip at the age of 6 weeks, combined vaccination at the age of 8 weeks. Recommended continuation: 10-weeks parvo, 12-weeks combined, 14-weeks anti-rabies + kennel cough.

Passport if the puppy will go abroad.

Devorming

From the age of 3 weeks every 2weeks until the age of 3 months, it should be continued every 4 weeks until age of 6 months, then every 3 months.

Please fill out the puppy form to provide more information about where the puppy will go and what the plans are.
We will respond to your form submission within a few days. If everything is order, we can add you to owner candidate list before the puppies are born. Depending on several factors, it may be possible to make a reservation according to your preference if the puppies are more than one week old. (Limited also before the birth of the litter.)
Follow the development of the little ones on the website on the page of the litter. When the puppies are 7 weeks old, the puppies and owner candidates are paired. Sometimes earlier.
It is possible to visit the puppies a few days after the first vaccination, from the age of 7 weeks.
The puppy is ready for a new home at the age of 9 weeks.

It is possible to pay a deposit for potential owners Limited also before the birth. We can take additional reservations if the puppies are at least one week old, and if the gender and color of the puppy are not primary considerations. In this case, the reservation is not for a specific dog, but the owner will surely have a dog from the litter.

In other cases, the reservation will be made, if we can recommend a specific dog for purchase from the litter.
